The hub of the Exchange Family Center has recently moved to a new location: 3400 Croasdaile Drive, Suite 206, Durham, NC. It’s larger than our old office and easily accessible to all. We love our new space!
As we unpack boxes, arrange furniture, and start thinking about other touches that will make our office home feel warm and welcoming, we want to let you know about some of the benefits this new space offers:
We now have a conference room that is large enough for our entire staff or Board of Directors to meet.
We also have space to bring our community partners together to strategically plan and talk about how we can all work together to improve the lives of Durham families.
Room to grow our staff as we increase our capacity to serve and move more families off the wait-list.
Our mission: This new office will also enable us to better fulfill our mission to make children’s lives better by strengthening their families, teachers, and communities through proven counseling, coaching, and training.
We believe a supportive community can make a difference in building up caring adults, who are essential to developing resilience in children and seeing them thrive as they grow. We offer education and support services to develop the skills of caring adults. In so doing, we create safe spaces and responsive environments that are also essential to the health and happiness of kids.
Who we are: An IRS certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Exchange Family Center makes a difference in the lives of children, adolescents and their families through the provision of family support, counseling, case management, group counseling, education, and supportive services.
These services are provided through our three main programs, including Early Childhood Outreach (EChO), Family Support Program (FSP), and the Parenting of Adolescents (POA) program.
