Exchange Family Center's 48th Annual Golf Tournament - Thank You

It’s hard to believe that fall is already well underway and another successful Golf Tournament is behind us.  This past Friday, October 6th we had over 110 golfers, volunteers, and community members join us for the 48th Annual Golf Tournament at The Crossings Golf Club.  It was a great day on the course with gorgeous weather and good company.  Thank you for being a part of it!

Congratulations to our Tournament winners!  The team from Aflac included Jed Busbee, Ben Mackey, Tripp Shaw, and Wayne Jordan.

The Exchange Family Center has been providing support to children and families in Durham since 1992.  Our Golf Tournament is one of two annual events that allow us to raise unrestricted funds to further our mission.  This event would not be able to be a success without your partnership.

With your generosity, and with funds still coming in, the event has raised over $20,000!  A simple “thank you” can’t express our true appreciation!

In addition to our incredible long-term supporters, we were glad to welcome several new faces and special guests at this year’s event.  Special guests in attendance at the event luncheon included Durham Mayoral Candidate Pierce Freelon and City Council Candidate Dolly Reaves.

Thank you for your support of Exchange Family Center and for helping us to serve the many families, parents, teachers, and professionals we are able to reach in Durham – close to 2,000 individuals last year.  We cannot say ‘thank you’ enough for your partnership!

We are truly supporting children, together.
